This former woollen mill acquired a change of use permission, including refurbishment of the water wheel and two fully glazed lean-to extensions. The amount of glazing was deemed necessary by Carmarthenshire County Council in order to maintain views of the original historic building.
The self-sustainable dwelling utilises a private drainage system, ground-mounted photovoltaic panels and solar hot water panels whilst also using hydropower from the adjoining stream. This project is on-site and will be updated on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
