Listed Building and CADW requested precise detailing to ensure this modern glazed cantilevered Sun Room extension did not detrimentally or physically affect the existing listed main dwelling, Anthracite grey powder-coated aluminium clads the steel frame structure with large glazed panels, slimline glazing and frameless balustrade glass maximising the countryside views while limiting the visual impact on the listed dwelling it abuts. Solar glazing and automatically openable roof lights were introduced to ensure overheating did not occur in the summer months.
